Smalls SAL - April

Hello everyone,

Today it is time to join Heather of Stitching Lotus for the Smalls SAL check-in. If you wish to find out more about this SAL, which you may join at anytime during the year, just click on my sidebar button.

I ventured to open my UFO drawer just a crack to tackle the first piece of embroidery to demand attention on seeing the light of day and I retrieved a project which had been relegated to the said  drawer on my disliking the colours I had chosen, all two of them, sigh.

So, trying to ignore the very pale butter coloured thread which is really hardly appreciable in these photos, I made a pin cushion and stitched the little scissor fob, both designs by Danybrod.

A scrap of complementary yellow polka dot fabric from stash for the backings brightened the designs and then a smattering, just a smattering of pearl beads.

and that completes my Smalls for this month.

Until next week,

Sheryl

The Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

So pleased you have stopped by today, especially if you are taking part in the Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop hosted by Jo at Serendipitous Stitching.  Start at Jo´s blog where the participants are listed, visit the blogs and collect letters which will spell out a mystery phrase.

" This Easter Sheryl says she has made a fabric bread holder with different coloured sides"

"but I know better, she has obviously made me a new bed as a surprise"

"Why otherwise would there be an embroidered picture of me on each side ?"

"It is just my size, I can really stretch out"

"and the pretty pink side matches my sheets"

"perfect for all the family"

"Might as well eat this sticky hot cross bun as it has a capital `i´ on it instead of a cross, can´t have that can we?"

Your next stop is to visit Leonie at Fireflies & Cats in the Garden.

Happy Easter,
Sheryl
