This and That

Yesterday my sewing buddies were here at my house for our weekly stitching get-together and one of them asked the $100 question of  ¨where´s that quilt you were making? ¨   I kind of didn´t hear her but she repeated the question and I had to get it out of its three or four year hiding place.  I did have a look at it a few weeks back but that was it - just a look.  Now I have decided to publish some photos of the unfinished blocks and publish them again in my next post completely finished. ¿okay? Now I´ve said it, I´ll have to do it.
The  designs are by Bronwyn Hayes and I´m doing a running stitch around the embroidery as in these two finished blocks.

These next ones need that stitching, which I will show finished on my next blog post.

Brutus is always sleeping everywhere.

Thank you for visiting. See you next week.

  1. Oh Sheryl, the stitched pieces for this quilt are just gorgeous. And i love the colours of the fabrics you used so far. These blocks are just too beautiful to be hidden in a box. I'm looking forward to seeing how you will continue with this quilt.

  4. Hi Sheryl! I'm your newest follower at this time, and thank you so much for adding me to your circles.
What lovely work you do, and isn't if fun to get something you haven't worked on for a while out of hiding? It's like starting all over again with a fresh look.
    Love you blog here.

  6. These blocks are so pretty Sheryl. It's strange how we sometimes fall out of love with the projects we start with such enthusiasm.
I hope you will finish the quilt as I think it will be beautiful.
Love the new blog header. I will be trying to catch up here on your blog ASAP.
