Having a DH with half a gram or less of romanticism in his make up, I just popped outside to gather and rescue some pretty yellow freesias battling against the wind of yet another dark rainy day and so treat myself to their beauty and delightful fragrance.
using a little unknown cross stitch design I found on the Internet and odds and ends from my stash,
I added some lace and trim, sequins and beads and lined the cover with some soft red velvet.
I still like my cover with the cats made years ago but it is now rather worn and difficult to wash
and having said that, this new one looks like it might be difficult to wash also.

Thank you for stopping by and looking. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Ha ha--I love your comment about your husband's lack of romantic gestures, Sheryl! Mine is the same way, too, although he does appear with flowers for Valentine's Day (no card this year, though!).
ReplyDeleteYour Ipad covers--both old and new are great. You always find the most interesting designs to stitch--have never seen the romantic couple before. All the lace and embellishments make it even more special :)
Hope you enjoy the rest of your February!
Your case is gorgeous, very luxurious! If it doesn't wash then you'll have the perfect excuse to make a new one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful iPad cover!! My Bday comes a day before Valentine's Day so there is nothing I expect from my husband.
ReplyDeleteI have crochet iPad cover but my iPad usually lay around in open anywhere in the house.
